CONFERENCE 2006
FOR STAFF & STUDENTS
Thompson Rivers University is hosting the 2006 ABEABC conference for both
educators and learners May 10-13 In Kamloops.
This year students are being invited to their own conference to be held in conjunction with the traditional conference. Please encourage your students to attend.
We are still accepting proposal from presenters, so please send in your workshop ideas.
Look for registration forms and further details on posters in your centre, or on our website.
Or, contact your regional representative.
The theme of this year’s conference is “A Celebration of Learning”.
- Students will have a special price of $120 for the full conference.
- The educator’s price is $240
- The campus accommodation with linen is $85 for 3 nights.
- Note that Organizational memberships entitle one employee to the member price.
- Group rates (10 or more) are available. $10 off per person per day.

STUDENT BURSARIES
A Kwantlen College student said “It has always been my belief that those who want an education should not have barriers to access instruction. The cost of schooling is often one of the biggest factors that prevent students from acquiring an education. Scholarships like this one help students achieve the educational goals we set for ourselves….”
Organizations who choose to have bursaries for their students may do so.
Organizational membership fees are due Feb 28, 06.
This year organizations may choose a variety of bursary options, with the base price being $75 and multiples of 100 available for bursaries.
